Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This is the third image processed and the first capture I took from my recent visit to the waterfront park, "Henry Gourdine Park", located in Ossining, NY to photograph the controversial sculpture; "The Eye Of Sauren".
Note: The official plaque reads: “River Arch Peter Lundberg 2016”.
Unbeknownst to me at the time was this modern sculpture called "Angel" by artist César Israel Paulo, of Portugal, it is a tribute to the fire departments of Alijó, Portugal, and Ossining, NY and was installed at the public waterfront park and promenade of a luxury rental complex.
"Angel" is a 23-foot tall carbon steel sculpture, the fourth sculpture to be installed at Harbor Square. Commissioned by Harbor Square developer Martin Ginsburg, it is an exact replica of a sculpture in Alijó.
As mentioned prior, this is the first photograph I shot during the golden hour, with soft and forgiving light that brought out the vibrant color of the sculpture as well as the lovely late summer...
